Blind Spots is a 45-card deck and comprehensive guidebook designed to help you understand relationship patterns, recognize red flags, and heal. It covers attachment theory, childhood wounds, manipulation tactics, boundaries, and practical tools for choosing differently.
It's psychology-backed, compassionately written, and designed for real-world use.
Is this an oracle deck?
No. Oracle cards offer spiritual guidance ("what does the universe want me to know?"). Blind Spots offers psychological clarity ("what pattern am I repeating and how do I break it?").
You CAN pull a daily card for reflection, but you're getting research-backed psychology, not necessarily mystical messages.
What's included?
45 Cards and a 200+ Page Guidebook:
Deep dive into each topic
Psychological background (why this pattern exists)
Childhood Template (how your past shapes your present)
Triggers
Codependency
People-Pleasing
Self-Worth
Red Flags (Recognizing Toxic Dynamics):
Gaslighting
Love-Bombing
Narcissistic Traits
Trauma Bonding
Stonewalling
Baiting & Reactive Abuse
Future-Faking
Intermittent Reinforcement
Tools for Healing:
Boundaries (how to set them without guilt)
Self-Soothing Techniques
Effective Communication
Forgiveness vs. Reconciliation
Healthy Relationship Markers
When to Repair vs. When to Leave
Choosing Securely
I've tried everything. Why would this help?
Here's what makes Blind Spots different:
1. Comprehensive: Most resources address ONE thing (attachment theory OR red flags OR boundaries). This covers the full journey.
2. Actionable: Every card includes practical steps, not just theory or inspiration.
3. Accessible format: Cards are easier to engage with than dense books. You can pull one when you need it instead of wading through endless pages.
4. Psychology + lived experience: It's not just research. It's research filtered through real-world experience of these patterns.
5. No BS: Compassionate, yes. But also direct and honest. No toxic positivity, no "just think positive."
How do I use the deck?
There's no "wrong" way, but here are some approaches:
Daily Pull: Draw one card each morning for reflection. Journal on how that pattern shows up in your life.
Targeted Work: Choose a specific card you're struggling with (e.g., Anxious Attachment) and work through the guidebook section deeply.
Therapy Supplement: Bring cards to therapy sessions to discuss specific patterns with your therapist.
Sequential Study: Work through all 45 cards in order, one per day or week, for a comprehensive journey.
The guidebook includes detailed suggestions for getting the most from the deck.
Who is this deck for?
This deck is for you if:
You keep choosing the same type of person (and wondering why)
You feel anxious, codependent, or like a people-pleaser in relationships
You've been gaslit and want to trust yourself again
You wonder "why do I keep doing this to myself?"
You're in therapy for relationship patterns and want tools between sessions
You're recovering from a toxic or abusive relationship
You're tired of Instagram therapy that doesn't go deep enough
This deck is NOT for:
People looking for a quick fix without doing the work
People currently in dangerous situations (please prioritize safety - call the National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233)
Is this a replacement for therapy?
No. Blind Spots is a tool, not a replacement for professional mental health care.
This deck is best used:
Alongside therapy (as homework between sessions)
For self-awareness and pattern recognition
As a supplement to your healing journey
If you're experiencing:
Suicidal thoughts
Active abuse
Severe trauma
Mental health crisis
Please seek professional help immediately.
This deck can be incredibly helpful for understanding patterns and doing healing work, but it's not a substitute for professional care when you need it.

That said, we're confident this will fund because:
There's a need for this resource
The design and content are already complete and ready for production
We're building an engaged community before launch
Your support matters. Every person who backs the campaign brings us closer to making Blind Spots a reality.

Yes! Blind Spots will ship internationally.

USAGE & COMPATIBILITY
Do I need to know about psychology to use this?
Nope! The deck is designed for anyone - no psychology background required.
Everything is explained clearly and accessibly. If a psychological term is used, it's defined. The guidebook breaks down complex concepts into understandable language with real-world examples.
Can I use this if I'm not in a relationship?
Absolutely. In fact, this might be the BEST time to use it.
Understanding your patterns while you're single means:
You can heal before jumping into the next relationship
You'll recognize red flags earlier when you do date
You can break cycles before repeating them
You'll know what healthy looks like when you find it
Many patterns (anxious attachment, people-pleasing, codependency) show up in all relationships - romantic, family, friendships, work. This deck helps you understand them wherever they appear.
Can I use this with my partner?
Yes, with caveats.
If you're in a healthy relationship: You can absolutely use this together to understand your patterns, improve communication, and deepen connection.
If you're in a toxic/abusive relationship: Using this with your partner might not be safe. Abusive partners can use your vulnerabilities against you. In these cases, work through the deck privately or with a therapist.
Trust your gut. If sharing this with your partner feels safe and productive, go for it. If it feels risky, keep it for yourself.
Is this only for romantic relationships?
No! While much of the content focuses on romantic relationships (since that's where patterns often show up most intensely), the concepts apply to:
Family relationships
Friendships
Work relationships
Any dynamic where you're noticing patterns
Attachment styles, boundaries, codependency, people-pleasing - these show up everywhere. The deck helps you recognize and address them in any context.
Can therapists use this with clients?
Yes! Many therapists will find this deck useful for:
Psychology-based education (teaching clients about attachment theory, manipulation tactics, etc.)
Homework assignments (having clients journal on specific cards between sessions)
Group therapy (discussing patterns together)
Bulk pricing for therapists will be available during the Kickstarter campaign (e.g., 5-pack or 10-pack at discounted rates).
If you're a therapist interested in using Blind Spots in your practice, sign up for the email list - we'll send special information for mental health professionals closer to launch.
What age is this appropriate for?
18+
The content addresses adult relationship dynamics, trauma, abuse, and complex psychological concepts. It's written for adults navigating adult relationships.
Teens 16+ working with a therapist might find it useful, but it's primarily designed for adults.

For the first Kickstarter run:

Can I buy just the cards or just the guidebook?

CONCERNS
What if I don't like it?
We want this deck to genuinely help people, not sit unused on a shelf.
After receiving your deck: If it's not what you expected or doesn't resonate, reach out. We'll work with you to make it right.
(Exact return/exchange policy will be determined after Kickstarter fulfillment, but the intention is customer satisfaction. If the deck doesn't help you, we want to know why and find a solution.)
What if this triggers me?
Content warning: This deck addresses trauma, abuse, gaslighting, childhood wounds, and painful relationship dynamics. Some content may be triggering.
If you're actively in crisis or dealing with fresh trauma, please work with a therapist before using this deck. It's designed for people ready to do pattern work, not people in acute distress.
That said: The tone is compassionate and validating. The goal is clarity and healing, not re-traumatization.
Self-care matters. Go at your own pace. Skip cards that feel too heavy. Work with a therapist if needed. Healing isn't a race.
Can this deck help if I've been in an abusive relationship?
Yes, with important caveats:
If you're still in an abusive relationship:
Your first priority is SAFETY
Call the National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233
Create a safety plan with professional help
This deck can help you understand what's happening, but understanding does not necessarily equal safety
If you're out of an abusive relationship:
This deck can be incredibly validating and healing
Cards on gaslighting, trauma bonding, and manipulation will help you understand what happened
Cards on self-worth, boundaries, and choosing differently will help you rebuild
But: Work with a trauma-informed therapist if possible. Healing from abuse is deep work.
This deck validates your experience and helps you see the patterns. It's a tool for healing, but not a replacement for professional support after abuse.
I can't afford this right now. What are my options?
We get it. Healing shouldn't be only for people with money.
Options:
1. Wait for the Kickstarter launch (Jan 2026) and back at the Early Bird price ($30-35 instead of $45 retail)
2. Sign up for the email list - we may offer occasional discounts or pay-what-you-can days in the future
3. Ask for it as a gift - holidays, birthdays, etc.
4. Share with a friend - Split the cost with someone also doing pattern work, use it together
In the meantime: Follow on Instagram/TikTok for free educational content on the patterns covered in the deck. Healing can start even without the physical product.
MISC / OTHER
Can I gift this to someone?
Absolutely! Blind Spots makes a thoughtful, impactful gift for:
Friends working through relationship patterns
Family members in therapy
Anyone recovering from a toxic relationship
People interested in psychology and self-awareness
During the Kickstarter, you can back at multiple reward levels (buy several decks) to gift.
BUT!!! (And this is a big one): Make sure the recipient is ready for this work. Gifting unsolicited "healing resources" to someone who isn't asking for them can feel a bit...insulting. This is best for people who've expressed interest in understanding their own patterns and in doing the work.
Will there be future editions or expansions?
Maybe!
If Blind Spots is successful and there's demand, potential future offerings could include:
Expanded deck with additional patterns
Companion journal
Digital course or workshops
Therapist edition with additional clinical resources
But first: We need to get Version 1 into the world and see how it lands.
Sign up for the email list to be notified of any future products or expansions.
How do I stay updated?

Instagram: for behind-the-scenes, pattern education, updates
TikTok: short videos on attachment theory, red flags, healing
Website: Check back here for announcements, blog posts, and Kickstarter updates
